New to Ausfish

G'day all

Have just recently moved to Gladstone from Mackay and prior to that Port Hedland in Western Australia. I own a Quintrex 460 Coast Runner and looking forward to getting into the action. In Macaky I landed 2 barra from Teemburra Dam and also a sooty grunter. Have not fished a lot in Mackay due to work comitments. I hope to start fishing at Monduran Dam within a couple weeks, but the stories I have heard makes you want to take lunch and a six pack just to get to water after parking the trailer. I was also thinking of having a go at 1770 but don't know the area. Any information on both these places would be a big help.
