Can anyone tell if its possible to canoe up or down stream from Strathboogie crossing

yes its possible,
just be very careful leaving your car there mate,
a lot of undesirables close by,

Thanks for the heads up. If we go Ill leave some one at the vehicles. Is there any were else that I could launch and retrieve a couple of canoes on the Severn River.

its hard as most of its private,
you can try the crossing just out of emmaville too,
but again be carefull
