Liem's memorial will be held tomorrow (13th April) at the
GATEWAY BAPTIST CHURCH ,
1052 MT GRAVATT CAPALABA RD, McKENZIE.
2:30 SHARP

Liems family has requested that anyone associated with Liem through fishing should wear there fishing hat as a symbolic gesture, (Liem always wore a cap).

I Sadley didn't know Liem that well, but i wish i did-

I did have the priviledge of taking a charter with him a while back, my experience was of a young bloke with a amazingly sound knowledge of all things piscatorial, I was envious and jealous of his lifestyle, he introduced me to my first ever jigging session on a wreck at spot x outside Morton Bay, it was a day that sticks with me clearly and still brings a smile to my face as I discuss the events to those whom attended. Since then I have been on many trips since but none as good as that, I thanked him then and still do. He was professional, curtious and considerate to the needs of all his clients that day - to find out about his passing is just so ..........

My condolences to his family and close friends as I am sure he will be missed dearly. I am so sorry to hear that he is gone and hope he does rest in peace.

It truley is a sad day when we loose anyone, especially someone like him........

RIP Liem Benson- you will be remembered by me as a legend. Thank you sir.

Liems memorial had a massive attendence which was a true testimony to the great bloke we all knew him as. I'm sure he would have been overwelmed of the kind words and support given during his passing.
