Yet another Feather Inlay

Finished this rebuild last night and thought I would share.

tony. mate they look great but do you lay the feathers on the blank? or do you lay them on an underbind.its hard to tell from the pics as my puter is about to shat itself yet again.....thanks for your time

Hi Sid

Yes I normally do an underbinding, then coat with thread sealer and whilst drying apply the feathers. I then coat again in thread sealer to seal the entire lot. Once dry I bind the butt ends od the feathers, reseal and then epoxy.
