i need some advice with line choices

G'day All,
I was just wondering if any could help me with some advice on line selection with my overhead,
I have a Ambasseduer 7000 and i will be using it on a charter boat come November and this sort of fishing is new to me so i don't know whether to use mono or braid and what size, any advice would be helpful

The ambasseduers are quite a neat little reel. I would be saying you need to use about 20lb line which ever way that you go. With all the hype aside there is nothing wrong with good old mono. Sure braid has a lot better feel, but how often will you use this outfit? That is the main question.

On a 7000 I would use 30 lb braid or fused line, or 20lb mono. Best line for the job depends on where you are going on the charter, and what type of fishing you intend using the reel for after.
