    Dedicated Whiting Stick

    Am about to invest in a rod dedicated to Whiting in estuaries.

    Any recommendations would be appreciated - my thanks guys.

    long and sloppy - 9ft is perfect, with a 5 or 6 inch alvey. Wilson, gary howard, snyder etc.

    Have a look at the Snyder Glass Magraph H.H.GT 126,a long sloppy rod and match it with a Alvey 600 or 650 reel.

    Snyderglas 4126 or 4136 rods are excellent.

    I have tried many whiting rods,but I keep coming back to my old old Original Black Queen. This rod is about 40 years old wilh a cork Butt,whilst I have 2 late models the old original
    JW is my favorite. Like a dollar for how many KING GEORGE is has caught.
