I think your best bet would be to look through past fishing reports. With softies the report or follow up usually goes into a fair bit of detail on techniques and tackle used.

I am what you would call a die hard bait fisherman but am interested in maybe converting to this new wave of soft plastics however,not sure on places where they are most effective. Could you guys maybe give me some tips on using soft plastics and the best places to use them in the south east of Queensland. Just so I can see what all the rave is about.
