soft palstics ....... the new revolution?

    G,day ausfishers

I am what you would call a die hard bait fisherman but am interested in maybe converting to this new wave of soft plastics however, not sure on places where they are most effective. Could you guys maybe give me some tips on using soft plastics and the best places to use them in the south east of Queensland. Just so I can see what all the rave is about.

I think your best bet would be to look through past fishing reports. With softies the report or follow up usually goes into a fair bit of detail on techniques and tackle used.

best place to use them is where the fish are.
the biggest thing i have found is the technique to use.
fish to shade and structure and try to impose wounded bait fish action

    Mariner,

our next club meeting will feature a talk on catching snapper on soft plastics by Duncan O'Connell from Fish Head at Redland Bay. Duncan has caught some ripper snapper from around Peel on SPs and he will be explaining all aspects of tackle and techniques.

Wed 20th of April. More details on our web site - see below.
