    G'Day Big George

The Sedona [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] is a nice reel that should fall into that price range!
Okuma also have some nice little reels as well.

I have a Sahara [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] on my 7' Rod, which is very similar to the Sedona. Light, compact, and more than suited to the Fire Line you mentioned. Hope this helps

Big_ george check out the Diawa samurai......sells for $70 and is a top reel with 7 ball bearings......won't break the budget and its a good starting reel matched up with a 3-4 kilo spin stick.

I have both a Shimano Sedona 1500 and a Sahara 2000 the sedona was very smooth at first but has worn, gears are slightly rough feeling, then again I am not very gentle in use! the sahara seems more robust, spool and drag washers are bigger - my choice of the 2

More bearings can mean more bearings to get rusty or sand in.

Just look at Alveys. How many bearings do they have? None on mine cause it uses a brass bush. No problems with sand there #
