I sent an email today but no reply as yet - I'm after a price on a Shimano Combo - 2pc Rack Raider Rod and 2500 Symetre. I can visit the store and pay cash, but I need to know if it's worth my while to travel up there (I'm in Brisbane). Best I have at the moment is $220 plus $30 shipping... just want to know if you can match or better.

Haven't been into store yet (although I was previously a regular), as My deckie and kids seem to have got me all the Chrizzie presents I need for the current time.
I would like to say though, that from what I have seen of this thread, that SD seems to be doing business the way it has to/should be done in a competetive market. Despite the initial misgivings of some, SD has remained courteous and polite throughout and that is a precious commodity in this day and age. A breath of fresh air seeing the customer's responses and the manner in which enquiries are dealt with.
