BY the looks of the spread and the results of it, you be saving some $'s at the bait shops.
I practiced my cast netting in the back yard, and many a gum leaf have been left quivering with fear.
Casting from the bank is just the tip of the iceberg, Roz, next is jetties and then boats. But I don't think you'll have a problem mastering these, judging by the ease of which you learnt to cast from the bank.
That berley in the water first certainly is the trick to increase your catch rate. Well done !

now just watch out for rocks.... i go through nearly a net a year and it has been that way for about 10 years, i wish my prawning spot wasnt so murky!!!
