help with crabpot floater

# # # # # # # # Just heard rumour that by law to must have proper floater for crab pots not empty oil container or white foam cut out. Is it true to have round floater ?

Look @ www.dpi.gov.au Float must be not less than 15cm in any dimention and lightly coloured.
