I need more distance beach fishing any advice?

Hi HST no dramas but I still say one record out of how many different classes and if the bloke was fishing once the alvey started to twist that line up your distance is gone you could put three swivels in but again your distance is gone overheads or spinning reels everytime I was trying to generalise the best reels overall are not alveys also on the subject of John Softly he used to give his time freely at Davies Park every sunday and answer my letters to BnB so I can only go on that.

i do a lot of fishing with alveys as well as other reels and have never had line twist darmars ,i dont use swivels and i might put in 100 plus cast in a session , a little care on how you run the line thru your fingers and a few seconds before you cast , i do us bent tip rods as well .
on records with alveys there are more set in Australia than 2 ,
you are right the over heads will out cast the rest with mono ,if you bring braid in to it on spinning reel compared to over head with mono then a well set up spinning reel will out cast the rest .
this a few of my overheads i use on the grass .
