Just thought that I would show a pic of one of my favorite pelagic lures. These fellas catch just about any species you can name. It still catches fish, even in this condition
So show us your most molested lures, could be interesting!!

"The underlying spirit of angling is that the skill of the angler is pitted against the instinct and strength of the fish and the latter is entitled to an even chance for it's life."

Apathy is the enemy
That's one chomped lure Tony!!! I'm hoping a few of mine look like that after the M&G!!!
Iank has a couple of well chewed lures at his place. I'm sure he can post up a few...
This is my best one at the moment...
My lures have mainly caught salmon. They've been gummed to deatrh .

I'm sure Allan Dolan would love a pick of that macbait!!!

That one is good evidence that colour probably doesn't matter so much. As long as it still swims.
I hate to say it, but that abrasion is caused by the trebles. Note the radius forming around the anchor point. Happens quite a lot.Originally Posted by Fishin_Dan

Tony
Tony
It's the small one mate, 5".
Sy, that shows how well they can work too mate!!! Don't think I will ever forget that either, I was amazed how single handed, you managed to get video footage of a marlin doing multiple leaps toward your boat and still held the rod and landed the sucker!!!!! Amazing stuff!!
Regards, Tony
I would normally agree with you on that Steve, but in this case we saw the fish hit it on the surface. And the marks on the other side of the lure don't line up to the treble anchor point.Originally Posted by scuttlebutt
