Sounder on minnkota is it necessary???

Hi everyone

Just bought myself a Minn kota riptide bow mount and was wondering if it is necessary to put a sounder on the Minn kota its self . I have seen other people with them and seen the AFC pros have them. I do have a sounder on the transom but does it make a lot of difference having another one in the front as i will be casting from the front. Love to hear what your preference is.

i'm getting a hummingbird legard 2005 mounted to my minn kota, will be using it to find dropoffs, fish and structer, anything that will help me catch more fish.
