Re: Sharpening Stones
I had a look in King of Knives last night, and here are some details.
"Bear" carborundum stone large( thiswas the largest and widest of all available) $70 (2 sided)
Arkinsas stone ( manufactured not the natural stone ) $90 (2 sided)
Ezelap Diamond hone. $109-$119) (2 sided)
Spyderco Ceramic $79 each (single sided stone) so $160 for a medium and fine stone
I really liked the feel of the spyderco stones , anyone used them???
Also Supercheap had a chinese made carborundum stone for $3.00 but it felt a bit to coarse
Still not sure what to get. Leaning towards the "bear" simply because its a nice big stone.

Re: Sharpening Stones
I use a "Lansky" kit. It has a clamp to hold the blade so the angle is kept perfect. Thay come with diamond or standard hones. Very good results.
