Hit the water around 8:30 on Friday raced up to my spot pulled the rig onto the bank. Pumped a few yabbies and tossed out got 3 fish in 5 mins all bream 27 cm 25 cm and 25 cm.

After that the day went down hill as the wind played up with the tide however still managed 16 fish with the best bream at 270 Sand Whiting 310 and one rat flathead at 36 cm.

The best news was to see the schools of mullet which have been missing for a long time. So out with the spin and fly gear to chase some lizards. I have located a top looking area that appears to become land locked as the tide recedes, with a area about 100 m long and about 10 - 15 m across. I'm guessing it will be about 600 - 900 mm deep. And is in between a few islands. Hopfully i will be able to move around this waterway without sinking in the sand / mud.

Will post up how i go.
