Jimmy and I put the Tinnie in at Borumba yesterday arriving about 7.30am to find just two other trailers parked near the ramp. Overcast sky and the barometer at about 1010 with a light Sth Eastily what the hell, we came for Toga and were chockers with confidence. Jimmy was trying a Silver Fox coloured Squidgee spinnerbait and I had clipped on a Yellow coloured "double header".Both lures accounted for a single fish with Jimmy's going 47cm, mine went 35cm, we were pretty stoked with our first Toga taken around 9.00am ,with no other action we pulled the pin returning to the ramp as the Sth Easter increased in strenght. Borumba is a scenic impoundment compared to B/Petersen where we normally fish and with The Bass and Goldens gone quiet of late Borumba will suit us.
Cheers
