Last fish of the trip.
There was a resident population of Greater Barracuda on Kerr Reef and they were pretty big too. We did get some Slender Barracuda as well.
Last fish of the trip.
Great trip boys, and good report
"Reef Hustler" - Seafarer Victory 6.0m & 225hp Honda
Look what greeted us back at camp!!!
We had to get stuff out of the orange tinny before heading out and these tracks were not here then. The big fella came up in Broad daylight and snatched a fish frame we left the day before (yeah I know, shouldn't have done it)
Top stuff Mark.
Was about to ask you if you weren't worried about the snapping handbags.
Cheers
Jeff
I have a size 10 foot.
That's a big croc
A couple more fish photos to finish off.
Nice Grunter from Mamalita Creek.
Beautiful Red Emperor from Kerr Reef.
Same fish, probably a little over 6 kilos.
Yet another big Barracuda from Kerr Reef. Some other unknowns hit the crew on the first day and spooled them in around 5 seconds, probably billfish.
One of the best fishing reports I've read for awhile Daintree. Excellent fishing, fantastic photos, and somewhere different not many of us get to go to very often or even at all. Love the croc photos. Puts a tinlge in your spine.
Cheers,
Hutcho
