    Curtis Island Trip 20/5

Gladstone Sports Fishing Club held it’s annual fishing, crabbing and camping trip
away for the weekend of the 20th May. 8 members made there way to the top.
Fishing was a bit slow for the weekend with a variety of fish caught.
2 Barra, 9 Fingermark, Blue Salmon, Dusky Flathead (780mm long), grey mackerel,
gruter and cod. All caught on lures.
Crabbing was excellent with a total of 66 for the weekend. Big had at camp and
a few to bring home. [smiley=chef.gif]
Beer total was about 250 cans. So the beer wins again.

    Cheers
    Steve

Looks like a good weekend Steve, was it all done at South End or did you go up to the top end of the Island.
We had not a bad day up at Rundle on Sunday. A couple of big Perch and a p!ss load of big Mother-In-Laws.
