    Mud Island Bream

Fished Mud Is today and what a day it was, great to be on holidays! Anyway fished with poppers around the southern end and no luck. Moved to the Eastern side with a splash of water but no hook up. Fished a small drain on the eastern side where trevally were pushing bait up against the entrance to the drain and got one that went about 40cm. Headed to the North side and not much there. Switched to a small RMG scorpion and fished the western side where the bream were hungry and ready to eat the lure. Most were between 27-33cm and were all put back. Have fun!

Fishing Mud Island is a hard case, so any catch is a good one.
On the Western side there is a few oyster leash that I suspect would hold a few bream. Did many squire come into your path, there are a heap of small Squire on that west side aswell.

Any hows,t he pic looks fab, nice catch.

No mate, just fidhed for bream, so no squire. Will have to try the oyster leases, wasn't sure what they were under those ballooons!
