Yeah...good report buddy. Being an ex-pat Victorian, I was pleasantly surprised to hear that the sambos are making it this far north again. Wasn't all that many years ago that hardly one made it past Eden - nets used to stretch bloody near to NZ. Just goes to show what a bit of sensible manangement can do to revive a fishery that was almost flooged to death. We used to get some real horses around Mallacoota Inlet and Green Cape and although they're not top-shelf tucker, if you bleed 'em and keep 'em cool, they make mean patties!!! I should get out to the Seaway 'n give 'em a bash - be a bit of a nostalgia trip
