    Mud Bream, Squire and More!

    Fished Mud today and what a day it was. Started using poppers for bream on the western side and worked well with the best going 34.5cm to the fork and about 38cm to the tip. During the morning the bream started to taper off and so it was off to a drop off for some squire. Boated 3 legals and a lot more undersized fish. One instance saw my fishing partner unhooking a snag, with some fancing driving on the electric, to be smashed by a doggie mackeral of about 5kg when he was cranking it back to the boat to check the hook. The mackeral got to the boat, when the 10lb leader gave way. Oh well it was fun while it lasted. Here are some photos of the bream.

    Bass Pro XPS I think they are called - bout 3 inch long
