Dorado I also belive that the snap swivel can affect lure catch rates and when I lure for most fish especially mack tuna I dont use one. Thought I would just tyie one on for that day only.

As for the sight casting with vis up to 15 feet in the creek on the day spotting the fish can be quite easy. I went back today but only for a bait fish and still spotted jacks on the surface in the shadows. Unfortunaltey with the big tides we are having at the moment they have moved right up in the mangroves to feed so cant get baits to em.

I think my bait days are numbered though with the new leccy on board as it is so much more enjoyable than soaking dead mullet, boats much easier to clean as well.

As for the jack yes he made the dinner plate as it was a good size for the missus and myself for dinner throw in a few candles nice bottle of wine and thats how you get a leccy outboard for a present (just a tip)
