White Patch - Mixed Bag 2nd Jan

Fished for the whole day land based at Bribie and only just managed a feed. I flicked the tree roots around White patch on the top of the tide for a just legal Bream and got the Whiting down at Buckleys Hole on the sand banks on a fresh Prawn. Also got a couple of just legal Moses Perch at White patch on the soldier crabs that appeared at low tide. It felt like tough fishing but it was a beautiful day and the weed was much improved. I think things are improving

its certainly tough fishing at the moment hopefully it will pick up soon

Would be nice if a few summer whiting were appearing at Bribie - there've been very scarce. Great that the weed situation is improving. Might have another shot up there next week
