Pine Muddies
G'day
Hit the pine river today for a crabbing session with chris as the moon was full and the tides being very big it was hard to resist.
Plenty of crabs around but took some moving of the pots around until we found where they seemed to be hiding out.
With the amount of rain that we have had over the past week we thought that they would be out of the tops of the creeks a bit and towards the mouth but it was not to be as we seemed to find they were hanging as far as we could get the tinny up.
We ended up with six nice bucks, there seemed to be alot of crabs around pulling up to 6 or 7 crabs in some pots consisting of mainly genies.

look very clean to me be suprised if full??rain may have pushed them out early how close am i?? personally i like them a little more dirty but hell they look nice .cheers alex

Crabbed the pine yesterday.
We caught 21 jennie sandies,3 undersise buck sandies,1 legal sandie,4 jennie sandies.
We crabbed bald hills creek and the surrounding areas.
Also went north of the bridge.
There where plenty of pots out with not much result oh well next time.

Certainly can't complain pete hope my luck remains like this for the rest of the year, couple of beers and a few crabs for lunch
