Frying Pan Whiting
Fished the Frying Pan last week on the last of the run out tide with fresh yabbies (dont forget your yabbie pump)
It resulted in 5 good sized summer whiting averaging 30 cm.
I fished with light gear (4kg) a no 2 true turn hook and bugger all lead.
Bad point of the day was a snapped light surf rod as a result of using those rod locker magnets on the roof of the Patrol. The Bouncing around weakened the blank and on one of the last casts it snapped like a twig.
Had the privilege of meeting Slider on the barge on the way home who is always a wealth of knowledge and told me where the fish were after I had finished!
Putting the Ausfish stickers on your car and boat work a treat.
Sorry no pics.
Cheers

Re: Frying Pan Whiting
I forgot to mention all whiting were caught on a slow retrieve and were only about 2 - 3 metres from shore.
