Our '84 dual cab hilux does the hard work around place. 2.4L diesel, no decorations just the standard accessories, bullbar, tow bar and an ugly yellow paint job. The thing'll rust away before it stops going.

Also picked up a RAV4 (I don't know if I'm allowed to mention this car in the 4x4 section ) recently for my fiance. Yet to take it off-road but plan to give it a few beach runs. According to other rav owners they handle the beach/sand quite well. Oh well, it tows the boat pretty well
