    Aftermarket filters - Sakura

I have a 105 TD and have looked at a few alternatives to the Ryco filters, mainly due to price.

Originally I tried to source Fleetgaurd but found it hard in my area, the local stockist were always out of stock! One local dealer offerred Sakura filters, and have them is stock. BIG price diff eg Ryco fuel filter at SuperCheap $27, Sakura at local auto shop $13; same difference on the oil filter. The quality of the unit seems the same on visual inspection. I have recently put on the oil and fuel filters, now thinking am I shorting life expectancy of my engine? Does anyone know much about Sakura filters ?

Sakura filters are good quality units.

    Nippon-Max are better again.

Thanks for the replies, looks like they can be a keeper. Happy after the first 1,000ks since putting them on and now good feedback on them.
