Barwon Banks & Moreton Bay Weekend.

Headed to the Banks on Sat 22/10/05. Three on board, managed 10 good sized Snapper (3 - 5kg range) + bag limit on Pearlies. Took the Junior deckies out in Moreton Bay on Sunday 23/10/05, had 6 Mackerel in around 1hr and back at the ramp by 10:30am. Great weekend weather and fish to boot..........perfect weekend!

how big were the mackrel and how big is that esky?

compared to that knife, those schoolies look to be a good size, u get em on slugs?

Makerel were 65 - 70cm range & caught on slugs. Esky is a monster....my neighbour's, must be a good 1.5m wide.

Bloody great effort, good to see some nice fish about.
I am looking forward to my own proposed trip out to the banks this weekend. Shush though, gotta keeps Mrs weather on my side.
