Banks Report - Sunday 30th

We had a pretty good day out there still. We started fishing about 6:30am and pulled stumps about 11:00am. We kept 10 decent snapper between three of us for the table and half a dozen pearlies. (great by catch!) Let some snapper go to fight another day and lost some good ones as well. Even had a triple hookup on them at one point. Average size would have been about 4-5 kilo I guess with some unders and overs. Love that place! My guide for the day Greg might post a photo or 2 if I'm lucky..

Just received some pics.. Mates Greg and Dale with some snaps.. Don't worry, the ones on the table were fresh out of the ice and went to the shade for processing straight after some pics

Nice fish matt, looks like you got a good catch. the snapper seem to be in good numbers in certain parts of the reef.

Y ou must be happy with that catch Matt. Good to see that the Banks wasn't totatly dead where you north or south?

About a third of the way from the top in about 80m. I left my chart in Gregs boat so I can't say definately but I'm pretty sure it was about there. There were a fair few boats fishing the same area.
