Sometimes, us fisherfolk get a hard deal, and other-times, I could just kiss those fisheries people. Absolutely fantastic to see them putting the foot down on some of the problems that initially mightn't seem directly related, but ultimately might cause more damage than the rest of us put together.......

We've probably all seen it (damaged mangroves) somewhere before but it's good to finally see someone going down for it rather than the authorities just paying lip service to the laws they have passed. The amount of the penalty might also make others think they are no longer going to get the slap on the wrist either. This should be splashed through every newspaper going around as an example.
