1.There are 5 houses horizontallyin5 diffrent colours.In each houselives one person,each with a different nationality.
2.The 5 owners each drink a certian type of beverage,smoke a certian brand cigar,and keep a certian pet.
3.No owner has the same pet,smoke the same brand of cigar or drink the same beverage.

The question is"Who owns the fish?"

Clues:
TheBrit lives in the red house.
The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
The Dane drinks tea.
The green house is on the left of the white house.
The green house'sowner drinks coffee.
The person who smokes Pall Mall reards birds.
The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
The man in the centre house drinks milk.
The Norwegian lives in the first house.
The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats.
The man who keeps the horse lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
The owner who smokes Bluemasters drinks beer.
The German smokes Prince.
The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
The man who smokes Blends has a neighbour who drinks water.

This is solvable with no trickery or misleading clues.

That took 2 of us 3 hours you've done it in less then 50min.On the bright side we came to the same concluesion.

I did it two ways and came up with the German both times as well. Only speedbump was "the green house is on the left of the white house". I didn't take that to mean 'immediate left' (ie neighbour) and initially took it to mean just somewhere on the left.
