Leaving Tassie for a Month

Hi all
The Boss (wife) has spoken, off to the island to the north for a month next year. It will be mid july to mid august. Family committments in melbourne sometime (birthdays and wedding). At some point will be heading to south aus to see my sister up the barosa valley. some time at ballarat to catch up with a friend of the wifes. Slip up to sydney to see my brother. Money will be tight(as a contracter, when I dont work I dont get paid) so I will be limited to probable only 1 charter whilst there and what i can sort out my self. I am open to any thoughts (maybe leave wife at home, doubt I would survive that) so may be any other thoughts
