Blimp-cam keeps watch on Moreton Bay’s dugong

If you’re in southern Moreton Bay over the next few weeks and see a large white balloon hovering above a small boat, don’t mistake it for a new water sport.
The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) has teamed up with James Cook University to keep watch on dugong in the southern bay, using an unusual technology known as “blimp-cam”.

let me guess, some pinhead will come up with the
justification by lobbying gov't for more go slow
and no go zones. these people should get real jobs.
though the one reeling in the balloon had the cutest
@rse i've seen. think the cameraman just came from
a cricket match.
not that i've got anything against dugong,
i love the way they come up next to my boat
and wake me up with that cute noise. actually
if you listen carefully, they are trying to tell us
something.
these boffins would be better off learning their
language and educating them to stay the hell
away from any seaways between the red and
green bouys.
