mag wheels
Hi guys,
I have mag wheels on my boat trailer and also on my car. I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good product to clean them and bring them up nice and shiney again. The ones on the front of my car are the worst due to the brake dust and when I clean them they still dont look very shiney.
I would also like to protect the boat trailer wheels with some product. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: mag wheels
Les mate what ya want to do is head down to Supercheap Auto and get some Meguiars Hot Wheels... i think thats what its called but i know Meguiars do a product that you spray on and hose off... works a treat.
Usually i use that treatment then with a soft towel i pollish them.

Re: mag wheels
Autosol metal polish - couldn't reccomend it more highly. Used to use it to shine up me torana. Brought a mirror shine to anything. Seriously reccomend getting some. Get it at Autobarn, Supershit etc etc.

Re: mag wheels
Some ct12 will clean em up if oxidized, and return a dull parent metal appearance.
Extra cut paint polish will make em shine and a buffing machine if you have one on hand, but it wrecks the pad.
Otherwise some hard rubbing is the the only way.
