    Cairns Barra Report

The opening few days started off with some good catches (and releases) in Cairns.

The nets went in, and according to many anglers, catches have dramatically decreased.

Is everyone else feeling the same pinch fishing outside of the Cairns Inlet, which is net-free?

No wonder NT is booming on Barra tourism

I have always said that there is more money in looking after a natural resource than raping and pillaging it..
Just imagine what it would be like down here in northern NSW if they didnt net the crap outa everything.
    Just a dream guys....

The funny thing is on this site, you will get ppl sticking up for the guys raping the resource with nets because they have to make a living, and we have to buy fish n chips and so forth...
