I have to keep a eye on the infection due to it been my finger that feels the bites I tell you one thing tho my finger feels 100% now and i can bend it

Don't underestimate fish spikes - I spoke to a live trout fisher the other month who had one finger missing. Spike from a spangled emperor up under his nail. He pulled it out or so he thought and three days later the finger turned black and became seriously infected to the point where he came back to town but it was too late to save the finger. The end inch or so of the spike was still lodged up under the nail near the bone.

Update----- finger is alot better now and swelling is going down the surgeon must of done his job properly
