Good topic Choppa, had often wondered where they all came from.

Mine, ONERABBIT, is ONE=single, RABBIT=parent, rabbits being a great breeder, I"m also born in the year of the rabbit, 1963.

Good topic choppa, I get mine because my last name is Nolte and so everyone calls me Nick after the actor, and 1971 comes from the year I was hatched.

I am a psychic medium and spiritual healer . The word Shaman denotes a person who practises spiritual healing, sort of a medicine man. Unfortunately I can't predict the fish I'm gonna get or the Lotto results.
Oh and the spirits i use do include bourban and beer. YUM

my handle comes from the boat i ran as deckie with my old man. BARFLY. if i could write a book on some of the trips this boat did;and the fish that come over her sides it would have you all in stiches. so i thougt it was a good handle.NOTHING TO DO with the amount of beers it would to tell these stories. cheers barfly

Used the fact that the boat I owned at the time was a dehavilland that was made in 1956. Positively ancient for a tinny !

Got mine from growing up in the Gilligans Island era.
Was looking for a 'handle' skipper gone so I chose skippa instead.

although Maryanne reckons I should be called Gilligan ...

What a great post. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] Ok I'm ready to fess up. Back in the 70's I worked in the Post Office and was required to wear suit, collar and tie. Not a prob during the week, but Sat noon when I knocked off to go to the pub with mates, not so good. Used to turn in bag of fruit and everyone else was in jeans. Bones used to announce as loud as possible " here's dashing Daryl". It later got shortened to dasher and has stuck. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] Sorry to all you members that thought it had something to do with a red nose and a reindeer.

    Dasher,

You said that back in the 70's "You worked in the Post Office".

Shouldn't that have read "You were employed in the Post Office"?
