a few years back i returned to carrington boat ramp (newcastle) after a days fishing. i put my thongs on the bow of the boat while i hooked up the strap and winched the boat onto the trailer. i then got into my car and drove about 100 yards to a grassy area to secure the boat and gear for the trip home. while i was securing the boat i noticed one of my thongs was missing!. even though i didn't think the thongs were close enough to the edge of the boat to fall off i walked back to the boat ramp to check but no luck, the thong was gone without a trace. theres some desperate people out there.
