Looking for Help

I am a rookie to the fly. I just began learning about fly fishing and fly tying this year in the winter months in Canada and have had a great time putting the learning to use. I am looking for a little help in finding out about fly fishing in the Brisbane area. I am coming to Brisbane in October to a wedding and thought the chance of coming back soon is slim. I do not want to pass up a opportunity like this and was wondering if anybody could lead me in the right direction to enjoy a good fish while I am there.
