Almost got the macro settings sorted on the camera, still a bit dodgy though. Here's a couple of happy snaps of progress so far. A few are in focus enough to show the little mistakes up, I'll get better at it over time and as long as there's nothing there thats going to fall apart over time I guess I'll be happy for now.

well guys, the boat winch[as its fondly called] is complete. i put the final epoxy coat on this morning and i must say it don,t look to bad for a first time effort.the blank is a Hastings EGUSA #7 foot 24 kilo complete with ALPS reel seat and gimble american hyperlon grips and #FIGI HNSG guides. again i must thank everyone that made the weekend happen .. cheers # ian [sid]
