    In the not to distant future the consumption rate will be the main issue.( ie; burning hydrocarbons)
    Emission law will become so tough that conventional 2 stroke engines will not be manufactured.
    Manufacturers are staying ahead of the game, but in the end we will be paying the extra dollar for the technology to protect the enviroment.(of which we derive our recreational purpose).

    A good point Kev,in my opinion the environmental aspects of these motors would be the only valid reason to purchase one.

    Thats great Banshee.
    After all if it wasn't for the Kioto Protocol, manufacturers couldn't have given a shit and would still be producing gas guzzling polution generators for the masses, who would continue to mindlessly destroy what they love the most.
    But by then it would have been someone elses fault.
