    Bushy's Boat

Saw Bushy's new rocket on the Goldy on Monday.

Holy crap that thing can move. He must have been doing 50 Knots into a 20 Knot Soueaster.

    What a lifestye!!!!!!

Its funny watching the fishing trends from year to year. We copy from the American’s to no end. We only need to look at the bream and bass tournaments to see it, now look at the boats these guys are running. Even the guy’s that are sponsored can’t wear any other cloths than that with their sponsor from a hole to breakfast time all over them. Even the terminology most use today is American. This is just an observation, that’s all.

He He! I bet it does, I used to have a little bit to do with Government boats and I tell ya they also could really fly even in the roughest of conditions.

I believe the gold coast broadwater has a speed limit of 40 knots. i think?
David green wrote an interesting article in last months fishing world mag on the increasingly seroius injuries he see's in the accident & emergency dept. of the G.C. Hospital, due to boating accidents. He drew the obvious conclusions that more speed in modern boats has had a direct impact on the number of serious boating accidents. Some of this would also be attributed to the sheer number of people using the broadwater nowdays too. The irony is that a few pages earlier in the mag was a neat reveiw on Bushy's new water weapon, complete with pics of his mo' being stretched past his ears as he reached warp speed on a waterway down south.

I like bushy, don't get me wrong, but this is not pleasure boating at that kind of speed. What happens if you hit a kid in his tinny.

    That said.

    Its a sweet boat.

    cheers, roo.

It is getting to the point where a water skiier will envy many a fisherman!
