    Caloundra Boat Ramp Recommendations

    Hi All,

Thought I'd try the northern end of the Pumicstone Passage. Does anyone have any recommendations as to which boat ramp to use? There appears to be several ramps in the street directory from Caloundra to Pelican Waters. I've only got a 4.1 meter tinny.

    Thanks

    Michael,

Probably the best one to use is near the powerboat club. It has the best parking and is pretty central to all you would want to do up that end. It is a 4 lane so gets boats in and out quick.

I agree with Aaron - bells creek is a good boat ramp, 3 lanes with sandy beaches both sides to park the boat if you are on your own but the car park is too small and can get filled really quickly. Not too much of a problem mid week and out of school holidays though

Thanks guys, if the wind treats me kindly, I might give the ramp a try tomorrow.
