58cm barra caught and released at lenthal's on the aussie day longweekend, 55cm one was caught 45 min before. caught using a beetlespin and slider

nice fish, thats the darkest barra ive ever seen.

Good to see a barra from Lenthals. Iv fished it several times and caught some thumper bass. Have not been back for about 5 years. Does the dam still have a 6hp limit. We used to fish out of a canoe.

yeh, there is still a 6hp limit but a lot of fisho's use bigger and just do the 4 knot limit or electrics, still heaps of big bass being caught and released there.
