It can hurt too. I got the 49 to the boat, and saw it as a smaller fish, so wrapped the leader around my hand and lifted into the boat. Result was nice raspy Knotted Dog cut to the finger crease.its says something about the fishery when ya get a 49 cm bass and yas call it a runt
