Different sort of 'reddie' on a SP

Caught this Mangroove Jack also nown as 'Red Bream' in NQ in the fresh on a soft plastic while chasing sooties about this time last year. Blew me away and considered myself lucky to land it on the light spinning stick I was using!

Site was only several ks up from the salt. Caght a swag of small barra and some great sooties in the same stretch. It didn't fight to its max potential; as it had the lead head of the SP lodged sideways in its gob which is just as well otherwise it would have blitzed me in teh amout of snags that were in the channel.

Take 5 - obviously know me? - the birth went well (at home in the bath) - Jules Cooper is now 9 months old and is waiting for spring so he can chase some bass - at least from the vantage point of his back pack carrier!! For those who came in late.. the fishing trip was with my old man and a couple of good bros to celbrate blokey freedom before fatherly duties became paramount.
