    Hi Sojourner,

    The pike are real great fighters in Summer but get a bit lethargic in Winter! What you want to watch out for is the teeth when you unhook them, I am in general pretty careful but still have a small scar on my thumb from one! They are a fun fish to catch but pretty tricky I have spent many many hours (possibly even days!) casting in to likley looking spots without even a nibble!

    Going to lake Nassar for Nile perch has been on my wish list for a while now, has to be done before I die!

    G'day Jonli
    When fishing in Thailand for catfish lasy year the other guys were raving about snakeheads - apparently they fight really hard? They were telling me that you can only catch them on lures, is that so?
