I hope these small pics come out okay as this is a great sequence of shots showing a big wild caught Saratoga my brother landed recently. He caught it up near the headwaters of the Kendall River in the gulf. They were everywhere if you could get the lures past the several million sootys also there.

Nice jardini... did you get a measurement?
first of all...nice fish. The spectacular fights these bigger fish put up is unreal to witness.
Just wish that your brother new how to handle one properly. The damage done to that fish by holding it like that could of easily killed it ten minutes after it swam away. Dont mean to put a downer on a great fish...but facts is facts!
maybe the fish was not intended for relaese
Bloody hell mate. These fish look like dinasours. How do they feel on the line?
Nice toga!!
How would you like some big bugger pick you up with their fist in ya lungs. You will die in a short time I tell ya..... and so did the toga.
Please guys .... handle all fish carefully. There is no excuse for pokin' yer mits into their respitatory system.
what else would you do with a toga? they are no good for eating afterallOriginally Posted by goin_west
