I remember an article in a fishing mag about 10 or more years ago about rockfishing for jew in the Sydney area. This bloke reckoned sweep were good live bait for the jew. Never used them myself.

can anyone tell me if sweep is good for live bait?
from where i usually fish close to rocks are like hundreds of sweep, can anyone tell me can i use them as a live bait on a big bobby cork float?
if yes what sort of fish i can expect to catch in using sweep as a bait
